Serenity Spa Beauty Training College was founded by Petra Somen, the creator of Serenity Spa. Drawing on her years of experience in the spa and beauty industry, Petra established the college to train and inspire future professionals. Our programs combine hands-on learning with expert guidance, ensuring students gain the skills and confidence needed for successful careers in beauty and wellness.
Zama
Zama is an ITEC-qualified tutor specialising in Beauty and Holistic therapies, with extensive experience within the professional aesthetics industry. Her career has been rooted in clinical environments, where she has worked alongside medical professionals in aesthetic clinics, gaining a deep understanding of advanced treatments.
She brings a strong managerial experience, having led teams, overseen day-to-day clinic operations and worked on enhancing sales and retail.
She is deeply committed to raising standards within the industry and take pride in inspiring the next generation of professionals through education, mentorship, and hands-on expertise.
Doris
With years of experience in the industry, Doris is a skilled and passionate Beauty Tutor committed to shaping confident industry ready professionals. As an ITEC certified Spa Therapist and Beauty Trainer, she brings technical mastery, hands on teaching, and real-world
expertise.
She specializes in delivering clear and supportive training across skincare, makeup, waxing, manicure & pedicure, advanced nails and facial electrical.
Her teaching approach is centered on excellence, professionalism, and empowering every student.
Joyce
As an itec certified and experienced holistic massage and wellness therapist, Joyce is passionate about sharing her knowledge and skills with her students. She teaches massage, Reflexology, Spa treatments and salon and spa management inspiring students to become confident and compassionate practitioners.
Her teaching style is supportive , encouraging and tailored to meet the needs of each an every student. She is committed to creating a supportive and dynamic learning environment where students feel inspired to pursue their passions and excel in the industry.
Rose
Rose Wanja is a skilled Skincare and Advanced Aesthetics Trainer with professional training in Chemical Peels and skin needling(ITEC Level 4), Facial Skincare, and Client Consultation & Care.
She brings strong expertise in skin analysis and evidence-based aesthetic techniques, delivering clear, practical, and safety-focused training to learners.
Rose is passionate about empowering future aestheticians with the confidence and skills required for modern aesthetic practice.
