Welcome to the NEW Serenity Beauty School - A message from the owner

We are thrilled to announce that Serenity Spa has reached an agreement with the Alison Caroline Institute to purchase their beauty and spa education business.

Alison Caroline Institute is Kenya’s leading training college for beauty and spa therapists. The business was started twenty-two years ago by Alison Ngethe who was driven by her passion to educate professionally those in the field of beauty, spa and fitness. One of the reasons that she selected Serenity was her belief that we could continue to foster her legacy and values for the business.

Serenity Spa first opened our doors to Nairobi’s spa lovers in 2013 with the aim of refreshing, rejuvenating and rebalancing our customers. With a team of highly trained therapists and top-quality products, we have strived to grow and maintain our standards as a world-class spa offering premier wellness and holistic services to our clients.

For some time now we have been thinking about offering training services on a more formal basis, having been doing so on a more ad hoc basis. We have been keen to apply our high standards and leading-edge experience in offering such solutions to new therapists and indeed to therapists working for other organisations who have requested us to assist with their training. We have known Alison Caroline Institute and its founder for many years and we feel that this step forward is an ideal step for both of us.

Alison Caroline Institute will continue to offer all fitness and sports therapy related courses to existing and future students and all students on a current beauty and spa course will continue to be trained by ACI. The new intake of beauty and spa therapy scheduled to commence in July 2025 will be under the Serenity umbrella and in the meantime the Serenity team is working closely with the ACI team to understand the business in detail and to hit the ground running with a smooth

transition in July.
